MY BLOG ASSIGNMENT #2

In Cormac Mcarth's realistic novel, The Road, the young boy's mind is torn between 2 different areas. the obligation to trust and listen to his father despite his views, and the influence of his mother's memory against his desire to survive.The author shows how confused the boy is throughout the boys actions and shows how unclear he is about the current situation.As the father refuses to help people, the boy beings to question his fathers trust and means for survival. As the boy learns more about his environment and sees people dying, he begins to miss his mother. This shows how his mother influenced his feelings about his father and from there, conflicts  being to arise. As the journey continues, the boy develops a keener sense of survival from before & the idea of helping people and surviving.
